Summer 2023

WHS offers numerous athletic opportunities in the fall. The official start date for all fall sports is Friday, August 4, 2023, as established by the Central Coast Section (CCS) and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Teams are permitted to have summer conditioning workouts and it is best to contact the team's coach directly (see below) or check the WHS Athletics website for specific summer dates and times.

In order to participate in any sport next school year, all students must complete the athletic eligibility packet and include a current physical examination. A physical exam is valid for one year and must be updated annually. Additionally, all participants must complete the Sports Net online registration.
