Social Media

The Woodside ABO, as well as most of the Woodside High School athletic teams, like to communicate through Instagram. Each team has an IG account and so does the ABO. The ABO needs help leading and supporting the ABO Social Media! It's a fun roll for those who enjoy IG and want to support student athletes.

Social Media Chair

The social media chair is an avid sports fan and social media enthusiast who creates and manages content for the ABO's Instagram and Facebook pages. When able, the individual in this role attends various sports events throughout the school year to take photos, create social media posts featuring student athletes, highlight game scores, and promote ABO fundraising priorities. The social media chair can additionally reach out to teams and parents to get photos and scores from a variety of games. Responsibilities - Post Woodside sports announcements and results - Highlight team accomplishments - Post ABO events and grants approved so people know what ABO is funding - Alumni highlights

Social Media Coordinator

This position is held by a student or parent volunteer who is a sports enthusiast dedicated to attending sports events, taking photos, and capturing student athletes in action. The coordinator works independently but in collaboration with the social media chair and other social media coordinators to post photos of athletes and scores on Instagram and Facebook each week.

ABO Events

We could always use extra help with our fundraising events. From planning and preparation before the event to help running the event, any little bit you can do will only help make the event more fun and successful.

Event Lead or Co-Lead

ABO Team Liason

Team Liason's help communication between the individual teams and the ABO. You are welcome to be a liason for one or many teams.

Team Liason

The team liaison is a parent who supports two-way communication between the teams/coaches and the ABO with the goal of understanding the teams’ funding needs (ie. uniforms and equipment), as well as understanding the team dynamics and culture. This flexible role also has the ability to serve as a social media coordinator, photographer, or an individual who works with teams to understand team account balances, and gear needs.
