Team Contribution

Starting this year (18-19) we are kicking off the Cheer Program starting mid Spring of 2018. Cheer is year-round and since tryouts and then Summer Camps and workouts precede the start of the Fall Football Season, it makes sense to start our "new" season now!

Below is a suggested family contribution that will keep the coaches and kids focused on Cheer, rather than fundraising. This suggested donation is NOT a requirement for participation.

We are hoping you will help the team and your Athletic Boosters Organization (ABO) by making the following Program Directed Donation:

Music Licenses / Equipment

Uniform Maintenance

Athlete of the Week

Athlete of the Week May 21st 2018

This week’s Athlete of the Week is senior Trevor Collet. Trevor participates on the Boys Varsity Swim team and is also a Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo swim commit. As a child, Collet began his competitive swimming career when he was six years old with the support of his family. Growing up, Trevor was surrounded by great swimmers and his mother went to the Olympic Trials. Upon reflecting on the sport, Trevor said, “The best aspect of the sport is that all your training is with a team but you race individually,” Trevor appreciates the team support but thrives off of the individualistic aspects of the sport. As of right now, Trevor goes to seven practices a week and will begin practicing up to eleven times per week once he begins at Cal Poly. His hard work and dedication has truly paid off and Trevor says, “I’m extremely excited! One of my goals since I was a kid was to be able to swim in college and the fact that I am able to swim DI at Cal Poly is amazing. I love the team and the coaching staff there so I’m very excited!” Trevor qualified for the state meet in the 100 backstroke and butterfly, but this week he’ll be focusing on his AP exams. Congratulate this weeks Athlete of the Week, Trevor Collet!
