Please be sure to Register your family and athletes here on the ABO site, so we can maintain accurate records and keep you updated with important information about Woodside Athletics.

The ABO works with our coaches and the Athletic Director (AD) to consider the team’s proposals, help to raise money from parents that goes directly to the team (Directed Donations), and to allocate additional funds via ABO Grants to requests made by the team and AD.

Athlete of the Week

Athlete of the week December 2nd

The Athlete of the week is Natalya Hotovec. She plays on the varsity basketball team. She has been playing basketball since she was four years old and believes she is a better player because of that experience. She balances schoolwork and athletics by doing her homework after practice and by utilizing good time management. Her inspiration is her dad because he encourages her to practice and play. She plays basketball because she loves the game atmosphere and playing with her teammates. Her advice to anyone playing basketball would be to try their hardest during practice to improve everyday. Her teammates and coaches make her a better player by helping her correct her mistakes on the court. Her coach says that Natalya is a “hardworking player who always supports her team.”
